OK guys and gals. Here are the results. We apologize for the delay in getting you the results, but here are the adjusted results based on the outbound check. We listened very carefully throughout the day regarding the outbound check. After careful review and hours of verification, we decided to enforce the outbound check. The number of racers that made it consistently though the check far out weighed those that did not. 96% of the scanned laps made it through the outbound check.
We are sorry if this causes a problem for some of you. In some cases the outbound check was missed and to be fair to all, we must enforce the outbound check verification. If an outbound check was not reached, we took away your last lap of the day. If you missed the outbound twice, we took your last two laps, etc... Please note that by taking laps away, we are not questioning your integrity or honesty. We are simply enforcing the outbound check. Had we thought you were cheating we would have DQ'd you immediately.
Thanks to all of you for your patience and understanding. Jeremy and I want all of you to know that we appreciate your support and hope that you enjoyed racing the race as much as we enjoyed organizing it.
If your team is one of the top 5, you have earned a trophy from us. If you would please designate one team member to receive all of your teams trophies, and email us your name and address using this email, we will ship these out to you as soon as possible. For some of you, your trophies will have to be ordered again, given the mix up at the end of the race and us giving out some trophies to the wrong folks.
